Welcome to our little LCCC-School-Garden
Gardening and plant-based learning open a door to discovery of the living world. A School Garden requires a child's intellectual, emotional and social engagement with things that must be measured, counted, weighed, arranged, planned and cared for. We have deceided to have a little school garden as well. We are planing to integrate our little garden into the educational curriculum to teach children not only about plants, nature, and the outdoors, but other subjects as well. As of this week we have tomatos, pepper and strawberries growing in our little school garden. Our after school children had al lot of fun planting those plants during Spring Break. Hopefully they'll be able to harvest some fruits soon .
